When I first came across this video, I felt as though I saw these traits in myself but only from a distance. I have to say, over time I’ve grown more aware in my own relationship and each time I come back to watch this video it reveals to me simultaneously how much work I HAVE done and how much work I haven’t done. It always gives me very mixed emotions yet I keep coming back to watch it because she’s completely right - every bad thing about my relationship has been due to my own anxiety. It feels like you have two personalities at times, and you watch over and over again as your emotional and irrational self attempts to sabotage your relationship in order to get rid of that horrible feeling of discomfort. It can feel like reality, but it isn’t. And once you KNOW for sure that it’s not a reality, discernment becomes a lot easier. There’s loads more to say about all of it but this is a great summary. Thank you so much for this video! It really inspires me to keep doing better.
